Lawrence Hirsh

Lawrence Hirsh has extensive work experience in finance and treasury operations. Lawrence is currently working as the Director of Finance Transformation at Fluence. Previously, they worked as a Principal at Melner Hirsh Associates, where they were responsible for optimizing treasury and finance operations for various clients. Lawrence also worked as a Vice President and a Director at Rose Financial Solutions, focusing on business optimization and enhancing financial operations. Prior to that, Lawrence held leadership roles at The AES Corporation and Ahold, where they directed global treasury operations and implemented strategic initiatives to improve controls, profitability, and efficiency. Lawrence also has experience in consulting and has worked as a Consulting Director at UHY Consulting. Lawrence has a strong background in designing and implementing treasury technology systems and improving financial processes.

Lawrence Hirsh holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Maryland. Lawrence further pursued their education at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, earning an MBA degree with a specialization in Finance. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in January 2020 and as a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) from the Association of Finance Professionals in July 2019.
