Syed Atif Shamim is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in IT and OT environments. Currently serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Fluence since December 2024, Syed has previously held significant roles including IT/OT Senior - Cyber Security at TPC Group and Senior Engineer Network & Security at JERA Americas, where Syed Atif excelled as a subject matter expert in cyber and network security projects. With a strong background in security architecture and risk assessments at institutions such as USPTO and BHP, Syed has expertise in implementing Zero Trust Infrastructure and cloud security measures. Syed holds an Executive Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from the University of the Cumberlands, along with multiple degrees in Electronics Engineering.
