Jess Nelson

Jessica Nelson is an experienced professional currently serving as the VP of Business Operations at Fluent Commerce since December 2020. In addition to this role, Jessica has been a Balanced Body Certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor with Eudaimonia Movement since January 2018 and previously instructed Pilates at the YMCA of Southwest Michigan. From November 2018 to November 2022, Jessica served as a City Council Member for Niles, MI Ward 4. Jessica's prior experience includes working as a Data Scientist and Outreach Manager for the University of Wisconsin System Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship, where leadership involved pairing Wisconsin businesses with professional assistance. Earlier roles include Sales Operations Manager for the Drupal Association and General Manager at the National Center for Economic Gardening. Education includes a BA in Political Science and French from Indiana University South Bend and an Associate’s Degree in Psychology from Lake Michigan College.
