Mariam Lami

Mariam Lami has a wealth of experience in the field of regulatory affairs. Mariam began their career in 2011 as a Development Assistant at the University of Waterloo. In 2012, they moved to Health Canada as a Regulatory Affairs Officer. In 2013, they became a Bioinformatics Assistant at the Public Health Agency of Canada. In 2014, they were a Toxicology Technologist at Labstat International ULC. In 2015, they became a Regulatory Affairs Manager at Alterna Medicinals Canada. Since 2019, they have been the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Manager at FluidAI (formerly NERv Technology), where they are responsible for building, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) under ISO 13485:2016, ensuring compliance to applicable regulatory guidelines, and guiding regulatory submissions and communications.

Mariam Lami attended the University of Waterloo from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biology, General.
