Mohamed Okasha has worked in the scientific field since 2013. Mohamed began their career as a Cell Biology Lab Trainee at King Faisal Specialist Hospital. In 2015, they joined FluidAI (formerly NERv Technology) as a Lead Scientist, where they were responsible for leading scientific efforts in research and development, planning and executing experimental procedures, and researching new methods of biosensor development.
Mohamed Okasha began their educational journey at McMaster University, where they obtained an Honours Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry between 2011 and 2015. Mohamed then continued their studies at the University of Waterloo, receiving a Master of Science in Chemistry (Nanotechnology Specialization) between 2020 and 2022. Mohamed is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemistry (Nanotechnology) at the University of Waterloo, which they expect to complete in 2026.
