Parisa Sabetian

Parisa Sabetian, Ph.D., is a Clinical Data Scientist at FluidAI and a Professor at Sheridan College since September 2023. Parisa co-founded Novela Neurotech, where the roles included Chief Scientific Officer and Research Development Program Manager from September 2019 to January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto and conducting research in various capacities at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Toronto Rehab. Parisa's academic background encompasses a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering-Bioengineering, all obtained from the University of Toronto. Research expertise includes developing neural stimulation systems and optimizing nerve cuff electrodes, contributing to advancements in neuroprostheses and rehabilitation engineering.
