Gert van Spelde has extensive work experience in various roles. Gert began their career in 1986 as a Maintenance Engineer at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, where they were responsible for maintaining lithography equipment. In 1990, they joined ACAL Nederland BV as a Service Engineer, specializing in flow and level measurement. During their time there, they worked with various technologies and traveled internationally for field service. In 1995, Gert joined Fluid Components International (FCI) as an International Service Engineer, eventually being promoted to International Customer Service and Training Manager. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing after-sales service activities and training programs for overseas customers. Gert continued to work for FCI in different capacities, including Sales Manager and Board Director for FCI Saudi Arabia. Gert is currently serving as a Sales Manager for the Middle East and Latin America regions, as well as an International Customer Service Manager at FCI.

Gert van Spelde has an education history in the field of Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician. Gert attended the katholieke MTS Eindhoven from 1982 to 1986, where they studied electronics. During the same time, they also attended mts egelstraat and obtained a degree in Electronics with a field of study in measurement and control. In 2006, Gert obtained a certification as a Certified Profibus Engineer from Procentec. Gert further enhanced their knowledge by attending Hightech Tutorials USA in 2011, where they studied Foundation Field bus. In addition to their education, Gert holds various certifications such as Certified Profibus Engineer from Procentec Netherlands, BHV (First aid and fire fighting) from Sibened, VCA VOL Safety for management from STE, and a Radiation safety training certification from FCI.
