Chase Overcash

Chase Overcash's work experience begins in 2019 as a Software Engineer Intern at Neudesic, where they collaborated in developing and testing an Android mobile application using Microsoft's Azure DevOps. In 2017, Chase worked as a Research Assistant at Arizona State University, assisting a PhD student's thesis on the effects of a haptic feedback belt on the gait of a Parkinson's patient. Chase also took on the role of Lead Researcher at Arizona State University, spearheading a paid research initiative on machine learning and artificial intelligence in urban mobility. They used data mining techniques to analyze bus transportation history and conducted simulations to improve public transportation. Currently, Chase is an AI Lead at FLUIX Inc., working on integrating a data center cooling software with intelligent systems. They are training an AI model using a dataset of important features, aiming to optimize cooling efficiency and save resources for the data center.

Chase Overcash completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering from Arizona State University, attending from 2017 to 2020. Chase then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the UC Irvine Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, starting in 2021 and is expected to complete it in 2023.
