Malinda Massey

Malinda Massey has a diverse work experience that includes various roles and responsibilities. In 2019, they worked as a Human Resources Intern at Compass Group USA, where they assisted with recruitment activities and contributed to team development. In the same year, they also served as an ECU Marching Pirates Section Leader at East Carolina University, honing their leadership and collaboration skills. In 2020, Malinda became a Social Media Marketing Intern at ECU Campus Recreation & Wellness, where they coordinated marketing promotions and engaged with students through social media platforms. Malinda was later promoted to Marketing Manager, a role they held until 2021, focusing on marketing strategies during the global pandemic. During this time, they also worked as a Marketing Graduate Assistant, contributing to the creation of a fun and engaging social media presence for Campus Recreation & Wellness. In 2022, Malinda started a new position as the Business Development and Marketing Operations Coordinator at Fluree, where they manage daily business operations, coordinates meetings and travel arrangements, conducts sales research, and helps improve processes.

Malinda Massey began their education journey in 2017 at East Carolina University - College of Business, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Malinda completed their bachelor's degree in 2021 with an outstanding GPA of 4.0. Afterward, in 2021, Malinda enrolled at East Carolina University to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained a certification in Microsoft Excel 2019 Advanced from Pearson in September 2020.
