Whitney Tallarico has had a diverse career in the defense, energy, and technology sectors. In 2022, they began working as a Partner for the Silicon Valley Defense Group, where they leverage their knowledge of defense acquisition to support a safer world. That same year, they also became the Business Development Manager for Flux Marine Ltd., a startup technology company that produces 100% all-electric outboard motors. In 2020, they joined the Office of Naval Research as a Program Manager. In 2019, they were the Tech Bridge Director, Deputy Tech Bridge Director, and Ecosystem Architect for NavalX. In 2017, they were a Program Coordinator for American Technology Solutions International Corp. (ATSI) and an Entrepreneurial/STEM Coordinator for the Hawaii Natural Energy Institute. In 2016, they were a Project Assistant for Mott MacDonald, a Policy Analyst for a Congressional Campaign in Mississippi, and a Program Assistant for the International Mediators Community of Practice. Finally, in 2014, they were a Project Manager for CollaborateUp.
Whitney Tallarico obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2011, majoring in English, Anthropology, and Philosophy. Whitney also obtained a TEFL/TESL Certificate to Teach English as a Second/Foreign Language from Oxford Seminars in March 2011. In 2013, they completed their Master's degree in International Development from The George Washington University.
