Siddhesh Raut has had a varied and successful career in engineering and production. Siddhesh began their career in 2014 as a GET Assistant Manager at TATA AutoComp Systems Ltd, where they trained and motivated daily wage technicians to improve the quality of daily production and autonomous maintenance of the plastic injection molding machines. Siddhesh also utilized 8D problem solving to stop material wastage during tool changeover and inspection process, resulting in a scrap reduction of 2. In 2015, Siddhesh worked as a Quality Engineer at SMI PVT LTD, where they reduced defects in the fan base due to color shade variation by DMAIC approach. Siddhesh also conducted Gage R&R with less than 15% of process variation. That same year, Siddhesh worked as a Six Sigma Project Intern at Goodwill Industries of WNY, where they improved on-time delivery from 46% to 95%. Siddhesh also measured the impact of the current process on on-time deliveries and categorized causes for each opportunity missed. In 2017, Siddhesh worked as a Continuous Improvement Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they developed a tool to predict routing with second's precision using Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST). This achieved a 13% routing accuracy improvement of labor hours in Large Volume Liquid Manufacturing and 4% in Core Liquid Filtration, leading to improved costing of the product. Siddhesh Raut obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Production Engineering with Automobile as minor from Vishwakarma Institute Of Technology between 2010 and 2014. Siddhesh then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Industrial and System Engineering from University at Buffalo between 2015 and 2016.
