Hemant Kashniyal

Hemant Kashniyal has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Hemant is currently working as a Lead Engineer at Fluxon. Prior to this, they served as a Lead Software Engineer in the AI-ML CoE division at Jio, where they focused on designing and developing ML applications for the Jio AI Vision Platform backend. Hemant also worked on creating model management and inference pipelines for various vision use cases, as well as an API exchange for different ML use cases.

Before joining Jio, Hemant worked at Civil Maps as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in the development of an embedded sensor data processing engine for autonomous vehicle localization. Hemant also contributed to building scalable sensor data processing engines for autonomous vehicles and developed a Workflow Platform for processing Map-Reduce applications.

Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Mangstor, Inc., where they played a key role in the development of high-performance Mangstor NVME Arrays for both the data plane and management plane. Hemant also worked on various RAID, recovery, and performance features, as well as a high-performance flash controller for Mangstor's NVME flash storage device.

Hemant began their career at IBM India Storage Lab as a Software Developer in the Systems & Technology Group. Hemant worked on projects such as Copy Offload feature development, iSCSI kernel performance enhancements, and the development of space reclamation feature in thin provisioned volumes for IBM Spectrum and SVC product line.

Hemant Kashniyal completed their education in a chronological order. Hemant first attended Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 in Banbassa from 1991 to 1998. Following this, they enrolled at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Pithoragarh from 1998 to 2004, where their degree and field of study are unknown. Hemant then pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology at Graphic Era Deemed to be University from 2005 to 2009. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Information Systems from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology between 2009 and 2011.
