Kátia Nakamura

Kátia Nakamura is an experienced software engineer with a strong focus on Django and Python development. Currently serving as a Django Specialist and Senior Framework Engineer at Fly.io from January 2023 to August 2024, Kátia previously held the position of Engineering Tech Manager at Nubank, where a self-service data processing platform was built. Kátia's career began in 2008, with roles progressing from internships at Touch Tecnologia to positions such as Jr. Software Developer and Engineering Lead at Kiwi.com, where a product named Balkan was developed. Kátia holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with a focus on Optimization/Operational Research from Unifesp, alongside Bachelor's Degrees in Informatics and Computer Science.
