Tim Swarbrick

Tim Swarbrick is an experienced professional with a diverse background in security and law enforcement. Since November 2016, Tim has been semi-retired from Flybe, where the role was that of Security Manager. Prior to that, Tim served as a Senior Police Officer and Security Manager for Devon and Cornwall Police and Flybe since July 2012, following a significant tenure from June 1987 to October 2010 as Police Superintendent overseeing operational armed officers. Tim began a career in law enforcement as a Police Constable with Avon & Somerset Police from July 1978 to June 1987 and started earlier in the Royal Engineers as a Sapper. Tim holds a Certificate in Adult Education from Canterbury Christ Church University, a Bachelor of Arts in Modern History from The Open University, and a Master of Arts in Police and Criminal Justice Studies from the University of Exeter. Expertise includes security management, incident response, training, and interview skills.
