David Helms

David Helms is currently the CTO at Radius Networks | Flybuy. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Cyber Security at Salient Federal Solutions from December 2011 to February 2013. There, they led product engineering and consulting services teams in developing and delivering cyber security products and services. Additionally, they developed advanced algorithms for intrusion detection and prevention in high-speed networks using IPv6 technologies.

From November 2002 to April 2010, Helms was the Director of Professional Services at CloudShield Technologies. There, they led a professional services engineering team that delivered custom cyber security and lawful intercept solutions to clients such as US DoD agencies, Civilian agencies, and major network service providers.

Helms began their career in 1996 as a Senior Systems Engineer at Check Point Software Technologies, Inc.

David Helms has a BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and Business from California State University-Sacramento.

David Helms reports to Marc Wallace, Co-Founder and CEO. They work with Craig Brooks - SVP, Global Operations, Ken McInerney - SVP, Client Services, and Jeff Baskin - Chief Business Officer. A direct report to David Helms is and Christopher Sexton - VP, Engineering.
