Abbas Hosseini has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Abbas began their career at General Motors in 1983 as a Lead Programmer Analyst/Consultant. Abbas then moved to Chrysler Corporations in 1986, where they held the same role for a year. In 1987, Abbas joined Capita Financial Services Australia as a Lead Project Engineer. After that, they worked at Commonwealth Bank as a Senior Programmer Analyst from 1988 to 1990. Abbas then joined BP as a Software Application Engineer and worked there until 2003. During this time, Abbas also worked at Gourmet Kitchens as a Sr. Production System Engineer. In 2011, they joined Taylor Farms as a Sr. Production Planning Manager and later served as an Interim Operations Manager. Abbas then worked at Midwest Foods as a Process Improvement Consultant for a brief period in 2014. Finally, they joined Flying Food Group in 2014, where they held the role of ERP Systems Analyst and later became the Director of Continuous Improvement.

Abbas Hosseini holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Detroit. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. In addition to their educational background, Abbas also has certifications in HACCP Management obtained from Food Safety & Quality Systems LLC in February 2010, and OSHA Management obtained from OAI, INC. in July 2009.
