Marc van der Westhuizen

Marc Van Der Westhuizen has a diverse work experience. Marc currently works as a Business Development Manager at FlySafair since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Energy Engineer at Structatherm Projects from January 2017 onwards. In 2019, they joined FNB South Africa where they held various roles including Business Process Engineer, Business Manager, and Business Analyst until May 2022. From 2015 to 2020, Marc worked as a Private Tutor at Private Capacity. Marc also gained experience as an Engineering Student at Ford Motor Company in 2018 and at RCL FOODS from July to December 2017.

Marc Van Der Westhuizen completed their education history with a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they received a National Senior Certificate (NSC) from Hoërskool Waterkloof in 2014. In addition to their formal education, Marc obtained several certifications including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from 2KO Africa CC in October 2022, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (Pass With Distinction) from Enterprises University of Pretoria in September 2020, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from FNB South Africa in August 2020, Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from FNB South Africa in November 2019, and ES Fundamentals with SAP from SAP University Alliances in June 2017.
