Therese Giambona

Therese Giambona is a seasoned finance and operations professional with extensive experience in treasury services and banking management. Currently serving as Head of Payables at Flywire since January 2022, Therese previously held prominent roles at J.P. Morgan, including Global Head Cash Network Management and Executive Director, where responsibilities encompassed agent bank risk analysis and the integration of non-bank financial institution products into payment offerings. At Western Union Business Solutions, Therese led a global team in managing bank relationships and payment systems, achieving significant cost savings and operational efficiencies. Earlier experience includes internal auditing at Western Union and consulting for private equity clients at Thunderbird Global Financial Services. Therese holds an MBA in International Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA in Geography from the University of Mary Washington.
