Constanze Fay

Constanze Fay, CFA, CAIA, currently serves in insurance and pension supervision at FMA Finanzmarktaufsicht Österreich since January 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Financial Stability Expert at the European Systemic Risk Board from January 2021 to December 2022, and a prior position also in insurance and pension supervision at FMA Finanzmarktaufsicht Österreich from March 2013 to December 2020. Additionally, Constanze Fay taught Quantitative Asset and Risk Management at Fachhochschule des BFI Wien from 2011 to 2015. Early career experience includes roles as a Senior Portfolio Manager for Emerging Markets at Erste Asset Management GmbH, a Senior Hedge Fund Analyst at Lyxor Asset Management, and a Fund Manager/Analyst in Institutional Marketing at BNP Paribas Asset Management. Education credentials include a Doctoral Degree in Social and Economic Sciences with a focus on finance from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), and an MBA from the same institution, supplemented by studies at Copenhagen Business School.
