Laurenz Fleischmann

Laurenz Fleischmann is a seasoned professional in the field of banking supervision, with extensive experience at FMA Finanzmarktaufsicht Österreich since February 2011, where Laurenz currently serves as a Specialist overseeing Decentralised Credit Institutions and has held the interim role of Deputy Head Of Unit supervising Large Regional Banks. Prior experience includes a position as Banking Supervisor at the Europäische Zentralbank from September 2016 to December 2017. Laurenz holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Banking Law and Financial Regulation from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Diploma in Financial Market Supervision from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), a Doctor of Law from the University of Vienna, and a Mag. iur from the University of Vienna, complemented by an Erasmus exchange at Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo.
