Ben Schoonwinkel

Ben Schoonwinkel is a seasoned professional in the agricultural sector, currently serving as the Commercial Lead for South Africa and previously as the Marketing Manager for Eastern & Southern Africa at FMC Corporation since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Marketing at Syngenta and Marketing Manager for Potatoes and Vegetables at Bayer Crop Science, along with an Area Sales Manager position at the same company. Ben began a career in the industry as a Specialist Soil Scientist at Omnia Fertilizer and also contributed as a Soil Science Researcher at the University of the Free State, where Ben also held the position of Student Council President. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Soil Science and Agronomy from the University of the Free State and a Diploma in Business Management from GIBS Business School.
