Christian Hoogeweg

Christian Hoogeweg currently serves as an Investment Officer for Agribusiness, Food & Water at FMO - Dutch entrepreneurial development bank since June 2023. Previously, Christian held the position of Senior Underwriter for Commodity Finance at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions from May 2022 to June 2023. Christian's extensive experience at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. spanned from July 2007 to December 2021, where roles included Senior Director for Agri Commodities EMEA and Senior Vice President, Team Leader for Agricultural Commodities in South America, as well as Associate Director and Associate roles focusing on Agricultural and Metals & Steel Commodities. Earlier experience includes a Business Development Manager role at GET NV from 2005 to 2007 and an internship at IBM in 2005. Christian holds a Master's Degree in Law from Maastricht University, with additional advanced education in corporate finance and strategy from INSEAD.
