Carmen Barbu

Carmen Barbu has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in accounting and finance. Carmen is currently working as a Quality Project Specialist at Continental since 2020. Prior to that, they were an Accounts Payable Clerk at the same company from 2020 to 2023. Carmen also worked as the Head of Accounting at FNT Software in 2019, as a Senior Economist at Habasit from May to August 2019, and as a Chief Accountant at Mat Detachering from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they held the position of Senior Accountant at Rödl & Partner Romania from 2015 to 2018, where they gained experience in accounting and consultancy for various clients. Carmen started their career as a Financial Accountant at Spitalul Judetean de Urgenta Slatina in 2007, where they mainly focused on payroll verification and tax-related tasks.

Carmen Barbu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Facultatea de Economie si Administrarea Afacerilor in the years 2002-2006. Additionally, they completed a degree in Economic Informatics from the same institution during the same time period. In 2009-2013, Carmen attended Corpul Experților Contabili și al Contabililor, earning a degree in Accounting, specifically as an Expert Contabil. Carmen also obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from Corpul Experților Contabili și al Contabililor Autorizați din Romania in 2013.
