Alex Vandertol

Alex Vandertol serves as the Director of Engineering and Product Development at FOAMit since October 2014, overseeing product development, support, and data teams while implementing a phase gate system for program management. Previous roles at Visteon Corporation included Global Engineering Tools Manager, where Alex managed global software development practices and tool transition during the acquisition of JCI. Additionally, experience at Johnson Controls encompassed leadership positions in industrial design and supply chain analysis, with a focus on telematics system mechanical development. Earlier, Alex held engineering roles at Magna Donnelly and Tower Automotive, contributing to product design and development. Alex holds an MBA in Economics and Finance from Grand Valley State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Calvin University.
