Mariya Hristova Assoc CIPD has a range of work experience in the field of talent management and recruitment.

In 2013, Mariya worked as a Student Recruitment Consultant at Hult International Business School.

From 2014 to 2015, they were a Researcher at Impact People Strategies, specializing in executive search for the Ports, Terminals, Maritime, and Multimodal sectors.

In 2016, they joined Ignata, a talent solutions consultancy, as a Researching Consultant in the International Fashion industry. Mariya remained in this role until 2018.

Following Ignata, Mariya worked for FIS as a Talent Acquisitions professional from 2018 to 2019.

From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Lead Recruiter EMEA at Twitch.

In 2021, Mariya held the position of Talent Lead at Aula before becoming the Head of People and Talent at Hofy in December of the same year.

In 2023, they briefly worked as a Talent and People Consultant before joining Focaldata as the People and Operations Lead in May.

Mariya Hristova Assoc CIPD began their education at the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Language School for Girls, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Mariya then attended City and Islington Sixth Form College from 2008 to 2010. After completing their college education, Mariya enrolled at City, University of London from 2010 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree with a specialization in Law.
