Lauren Vendittelli DeMarco

Lauren Vendittelli DeMarco has a strong background in customs compliance and import operations. Lauren began their career in 2006 as a Senior Analyst at Livingston International, where they gained expertise in Import Operations, NAFTA classification, and Customs clearance processes. Lauren also tracked and traced US imported vehicles and created and maintained necessary documentation for duty avoidance. In 2011, Lauren joined FOCUS Business Solutions, Inc. as an Account Manager. In this role, they managed over 20 clients and 5 employees, creating a positive team environment and training new team members. Lauren also onboarded and controlled new clients through the Maquiladora process, managing various daily tasks. Lauren currently serves as a Customs Compliance Specialist and Associate Buyer at TRAM, Inc., where they apply their skills and knowledge in customs compliance.

Lauren Vendittelli DeMarco has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. Lauren obtained this degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they also studied Elementary Education and Teaching at Michigan State University from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained another Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. In addition to their educational background, Lauren Vendittelli DeMarco has obtained a certification as a U.S. Customs Broker in May 2015.
