Xavier Marot

Xavier Marot has an extensive background in the gaming industry. Xavier currently holds the position of Chief Production Officer at Focus Entertainment since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Production Director at the same company from June 2021 to May 2022. Xavier also worked as the Head of Line Production at Focus Entertainment from February 2019 to June 2021.

Xavier's experience includes roles at various gaming companies such as Ubisoft, where they worked as a Line Producer from October 2016 to January 2019, and Focus Home Interactive, where they held the position of Senior Line Producer from December 2015 to October 2016.

Xavier has also worked at Magic Pockets as a Senior Producer from August 2013 to November 2015 and as a Producer from May 2012 to August 2013. Xavier's earlier experience includes positions at Ubisoft as a Game Content Manager from June 2011 to May 2012, and at Eversim as a Project Manager, Game Designer, and Assistant Producer from October 2007 to June 2011.

Additionally, Xavier worked as a Game/Level Designer at LOAD Inc. from July 2007 to October 2007, and as a Game Designer, Technical Director at NoCulture Team from October 2006 to June 2007. Xavier also worked briefly as a Game Designer at OCandCo in July 2006. Alongside their career in game development, Xavier has also worked as a part-time teacher at ITESCIA, a public higher education apprenticeship school in Cergy-Pontoise, France, where they occasionally taught project management from March 2008 to February 2022.

Xavier Marot attended IUT Informatique d'Orléans from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a DUT degree in Computer Science. From 2005 to 2007, they then pursued their education at Supinfogame, earning a degree as an Ingénieur en réalisation video-ludique with a focus on Game Design and Project Management.
