Kellie Groover, SHRM-CP

Kellie Groover, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2001, they worked for Walt Disney World as a Disney College Program Campus Representative, where they implemented a marketing plan to increase awareness and attendance for the program. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at Hansen Architects, P.C. as a Marketing Coordinator, providing marketing materials, updating the website, and assisting with administrative tasks. In 2012, they had a brief role as a Production Coordinator and Production Secretary/Publicist at Production Specialties, LLC, where they generated publicity and completed administrative duties for an independent feature film. Kellie then worked as a Community Manager at thincspace Savannah, managing a co-working space, creating marketing materials, and coordinating events. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Focus Lab in People Operations roles, and in 2017, they became the People Operations Director. Currently, they hold the position of People Ops Director at Odi, a B2B brand agency serving startups.

Kellie Groover, SHRM-CP, attended Georgia Southern University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2002, they attended Savannah College of Art and Design, focusing on Computer Art - 2D Animation. Kellie's educational history dates back to their time at Savannah Christian Preparatory School, where they studied from 1988 to 2000. In 2017, they obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
