Xavier Vaisseau

Xavier Vaisseau has diverse work experience in the field of experimental physics and laser engineering. Xavier is currently working as a Senior experimental scientist at Focused Energy Inc. since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at CEA as a Physicien from March 2019 and March 2018. Xavier also served as a Postdoctoral Scientist at CLPU (Pulsed Lasers Center) from January 2016 to March 2018. Additionally, they held a role as a Specially appointed assistant professor at the Institute of Laser Engineering, Osaka University from June 2015 to December 2015. Xavier Vaisseau began their career as a Doctorant at CELIA (CEntre Lasers Intenses et Applications) from October 2011 to May 2015.

Xavier Vaisseau's education history begins in 2006, when they attended Lycée Camille Jullian. Xavier pursued a degree in PCSI, focusing on Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering Sciences. After completing this program in 2007, Xavier continued their education at Université de Bordeaux, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics between 2007 and 2009. Following their Bachelor's, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Fusion Science at the same institution, Université de Bordeaux.
