Gavin Zhu

Gavin Zhu has extensive work experience in the automotive industry, holding various management positions in reputable companies. Gavin currently serves as the Corporate VP & President of Automotive BU at Focuslight Technologies Inc. Prior to this, they were the Operations Director at SLPT Global Pump Group, where they successfully managed multiple plants and oversaw mergers and acquisitions. Before that, they worked as the Assembly Operations Manager at Marelli, where they received recognition for their work in achieving the WCM bronze medal. Gavin also served as a Project Manager & Operation Manager at SAS Automotive Systems, where they played a key role in setting up a new plant. Earlier in their career, they worked at Marelli and Chery Automobile Co., taking on roles such as Program Manager and Process Engineer. Overall, Gavin Zhu's work experience demonstrates their expertise in operations management, mergers and acquisitions, and industrialization in the automotive sector.

Gavin Zhu completed their Bachelor's degree in Thermal Energy Engineering from Anhui University of Technology from 1994 to 1999. Gavin then went on to earn a Master's degree in Project Management from Nanjing University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009.
