Rikke Christensen-Lee

Rikke Christensen-Lee is an experienced veterinary professional with a diverse background in animal welfare management. Currently serving as Sektionsleder at Fødevarestyrelsen since November 2022, Rikke previously held positions as CEO/Director and Veterinarian at Dyreværnet from January 2016 to November 2022. Rikke also managed a shelter at Dyrenes Beskyttelse from January 2012 to December 2015 and worked as a Veterinarian at Hestedoktoren and Højelse Hesteklinik between June 2007 and December 2011. Rikke began the veterinary career at the University of Georgia from June 2006 to June 2007. Rikke holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The University of Georgia, a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.
