Louis B. Thalheimer Associate Librarian For Researcher Services at Folger Shakespeare Library

Michele Lee Silverman is a highly experienced librarian, currently serving as the Louis B. Thalheimer Associate Librarian for Researcher Services at the Folger Shakespeare Library. Prior to that, Michele held various positions in specialized research libraries focused on American history, rare books, and manuscripts, including roles at THE SOCIETY OF THE CINCINNATI, INC., George Washington's Mount Vernon, and Gunston Hall Plantation. With a Master's degree in Library Science from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor's degree in Art Conservation from the University of Delaware, Silverman brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their work in preserving and managing historical collections.
