Tom Claessens

Tom Claessens is an experienced data journalist currently working at Follow the Money since September 2020, previously holding the position of Trainee Onderzoeksjournalist. Prior to this role, Tom gained practical experience as an Abseilinstructeur at Bilfinger Height Specialists from April 2019 to September 2020 and served as an Examentrainer for Lyceo from April 2016 to July 2020. Tom holds a Master of Science in Media en Journalistiek from Erasmus University Rotterdam, completed between 2018 and 2020, and a Bachelor of Science in Werktuigbouwkunde from Delft University of Technology, obtained from 2011 to 2016.
