Jim Dubina

Jim Dubina has over seven years of experience in the food and flavor industry, currently serving as Scientist II at McCormick FONA since May 2016. Prior roles included Scientist I, Analytical Chemist, and Jr. Analytical Chemist, where responsibilities encompassed conducting various extraction experiments, operating gas chromatographs, and contributing to the creation of a flavor library. Throughout this tenure, Jim successfully added 500 chemicals to the library and expedited extraction processes for timely analysis. Earlier experience as a BU Intern at FONA International involved supporting research in encapsulation technology and flavor profiling in beverage prototypes. Jim holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned in 2016.
