Xian Gao

Xian Gao is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical engineering with a strong background in data science and research. Currently serving as a Decision Scientist II at Grubhub since September 2022, Xian leverages analytical skills developed through previous roles, including a Research Assistant position at the University of Notre Dame from July 2017 to January 2023, and a Data Scientist Intern at Aspen Technology in late 2021. Xian's expertise was further honed as an ORISE Graduate Research Fellow at the National Energy Technology Laboratory from August 2018 to August 2019. Xian holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Chemical Engineering from Hunan University.
