Andrea Mannini is an accomplished researcher and engineer currently serving as the coordinator of the AIRlab at Fondazione Don Gnocchi since November 2019. With a strong background in bioengineering, Andrea has held various roles at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna since November 2009, including assistant professor and PhD student in BioRobotics, focusing on machine learning algorithms for human movement recognition. Previous experience includes algorithm design at WINMedical and a visiting scholar role at Northeastern University. Academic qualifications consist of a PhD from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Università di Pisa.
