Gabriela Hernández

Gabriela Hernandez is a Biomedical Engineering graduate from Boston University with a diverse background in medical and research roles. At Sunlight Clinic, Gabriela worked as a Medical Assistant/Scribe, performing various clinical tasks and assisting with electronic health records. Prior experience includes a Research Associate position at Wood Mackenzie, where Gabriela assessed commercial developments in the oil and gas sector and managed data quality improvement projects. During an internship at Precision Diagnostics Center, Gabriela focused on COVID-19 testing methodologies, while prior work at Klapperich Laboratory involved DNA analysis for cervical samples. Gabriela also contributed to community education as an English Literacy Tutor for immigrant families and engaged in cancer research through a summer internship at The University of Texas at Austin. Currently, Gabriela is continuing further studies at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
