Derrick Muheki

Derrick Muheki is an FWO PhD Fellow in Fundamental Research and a PhD researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, focusing on hydroclimatic trends in the Congo basin since November 2022. Derrick possesses a Master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering from KU Leuven (2020-2022) and a Bachelor’s degree from Makerere University (2014-2018). Prior experience includes roles as a Design Engineer and Graduate Trainee Engineer at Centre for Infrastructure Consulting Ltd from August 2018 to September 2020, and internships at MBW Consulting Ltd and Mani Engineering Services Ltd in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
