Phd Fellow Fundamental Research at Research Foundation Flanders - FWO

Dufie Strubbe is currently a PhD Fellow in fundamental research at Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) and a PhD Researcher at the Laboratory of Neurobiology, VIB-KU Leuven Center for Brain & Disease Research, since November 2022 and October 2021, respectively. Dufie Strubbe's research experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Intern at KU Leuven's Rega Institute, focusing on the glycan landscape of zebrafish larvae and studying gut microbiota effects on human norovirus replication. Additional research internships at the Laboratory of Tissue Homeostasis and Disease explored the DOT1l gene's regulation in osteoarthritis, while earlier experiences included investigations into necroptosis in ALS and FTD. Dufie Strubbe holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences, a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from KU Leuven.
