Marie Hondekyn

Marie Hondekyn is currently a PhD researcher at both Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek - Vlaanderen (FWO) and Ghent University, focusing on fundamental research and the development of analytical and numerical models for composite pressure vessels used in hydrogen storage. Marie's previous experience includes serving as a tutor and teacher at deLimiet, providing individualized support in mathematics, chemistry, and physics, as well as teaching small groups preparing for medical school entrance exams. A research trainee at TU Delft, Marie gained valuable insights into composite manufacturing. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Sustainable Materials Engineering from Ghent University, an Erasmus exchange at Università degli Studi di Padova, and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Construction Engineering from Ghent University, complemented by a high school diploma from Sint-Pieters Instituut.
