Valentin Mezev

Valentin Mezev has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior Software Engineer at Fonoa since January 2022. Before that, they worked at Uber as a Software Engineer II from December 2019 to December 2021.

Prior to their time at Uber, Valentin was employed at SAP, where they held various positions. Valentin was a Senior Software Developer from April 2018 to November 2019, a Software Developer from November 2014 to March 2018, and a Software Development Support from January 2013 to October 2014. Valentin also began their career at SAP as a Junior Software Development Support from June 2012 to December 2012.

Before joining SAP, Valentin worked at Methodia as a Web Developer from July 2011 to May 2012. In this role, they were involved in both front-end and back-end development using PHP, Javascript, CSS3, HTML5, and Java. Valentin also gained experience working with the Liferay portal, a java based enterprise portal with a web content management system.

Valentin Mezev obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in 2013. Valentin then pursued a Master's Degree in Electronic business from the same university, which they completed in 2015. In terms of additional certifications, Valentin obtained the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification in October 2015 and the CMMI for Development v1.3 certification from the Software Engineering Institute | Carnegie Mellon University in April 2013. Valentin also obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker version 9 certification from EC-Council in June 2016.
