Mike Pappas has a diverse work experience in the legal and gaming industry. Mike is currently serving as the Vice President and General Counsel at Fontainebleau Development. Prior to this, they founded Consulente, LLC in 2018 and served as its President & CEO, providing consulting services in the commercial gaming space. Mike also worked as the Vice President & General Counsel at Sky River Casino from 2021 to 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, Mike Pappas held the position of General Counsel & Chief Legal Officer at Big League Advance, where they provided legal counsel. Before that, they worked as the Vice President and General Counsel for MGM National Harbor from 2015 to 2018. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all legal affairs at the casino resort, including construction, operations, compliance, and government relations.

Mike Pappas began their legal career at Miles & Stockbridge P.C. in 2011, where they held various roles as a construction and government contracts attorney. Mike also served as the Chair of the Maryland State Bar Association Construction Law Section from 2012 to 2013. Mike has experience in politics as well, having served as an elected member of the Baltimore County Republican Party from 2006 to 2013.

Prior to their current roles, Mike Pappas worked as a partner at the Harrison Law Group from 2005 to 2011, specializing in legal matters related to construction and business contracts.

Mike Pappas has a diverse education history. Mike obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where they studied law from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business/Government from the University of South Carolina Upstate, completing their studies from 1997 to 1999. Additionally, they hold an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Emergency Medical Technology (Paramedicine) from Greenville Technical College, which they attained from 1992 to 1993. Lastly, Mike Pappas obtained their high school diploma from Broadneck Senior High, although the specific duration is not provided.
