Matthew Hardie is currently the New Product Development Lead at Fonterra, a position held since November 2023, following a tenure as a Technical Graduate. Prior experience includes roles as a Campus Tour Guide at the University of Canterbury from April to November 2023, and as a Summer Engineering Intern at Lutra, where Matthew worked on water and wastewater treatment consulting. Previous internships also include a focus on Green Hydrogen production research at GNS Science and involvement in the construction of the Ika Rere electric ferry at Wellington Electric Boat Building Company. Matthew's early work experience includes two years as a Restaurant Crew Member at McDonald's while completing high school. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Dairy Science from Massey University, an ongoing Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Canterbury, and initial studies in engineering at the University of Otago. Education culminated at Saint Bernards College in Lower Hutt.
