Jack O'Mahony

Jack O'Mahony has a strong background in data management and technology. Jack is currently working as the Head of Data at Fonto since March 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Technical Program Lead - Privacy & GDPR at Qantas from June 2018 to March 2019. Jack was also one of the founders of Red Planet, Qantas' data-driven marketing agency, where they worked as the Manager of Data, Technology & Analytics from December 2014 to June 2018.

Before joining Red Planet, Jack held a senior position at Qantas from January 2011 to December 2014. Jack initially worked as a Teradata Developer and then as a Senior BI Developer in the Qantas Loyalty data warehouse team, focusing on governance, advanced analysis, and new projects within the Group.

Jack started their career at Commonwealth Bank of Australia in February 2009, where they served as a Group Data Warehouse Operations Analyst. Jack was responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and overseeing Teradata environment upgrades. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Administrator at Liz Davenport from October 2007 to July 2008. Jack also gained experience in network management, research, and development at Westnet, where they worked from December 2004 to March 2007.

Jack O'Mahony attended Hale School from 1995 to 2002, although no degree or field of study is mentioned for this period. Jack then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The University of Western Australia from 2005 to 2008.
