Evan Ponchick has extensive experience in operations, product management, and program development across various sectors, including non-profit, technology, and education. As an Advisor for the Food Recovery Network since 2010, Evan has successfully led initiatives that have donated over 100,000 meals to shelters. Previous roles include Product Operations at Contrast Security, where Evan improved product metrics capabilities, and Applied Analytics Manager at Genentech, where analytics and reporting capabilities were enhanced. Evan has also contributed to engineering operations at Dropbox, managed educational programs at General Assembly, and launched an EdTech Accelerator with Village Capital. With a degree in Operations Management from the University of Maryland, Evan showcases a commitment to social impact and organizational efficiency throughout a diverse career.

Food Recovery Network is a national nonprofit organization that unites and supports college students to fight food waste and hunger by recovering surplus food from their campuses and local restaurants that would otherwise go to waste and donating it to hungry Americans. The FRN National HQ is located in College Park, Maryland. Each official FRNchapter is run autonomously by student leaders on that campus.
