Kevin Roantree has extensive work experience in various organizations. Kevin served as the Director of Corporate Operations at the Food Safety Authority of Ireland from September 2017 onwards. In 2020, they became an External Member of the Finance, Audit, and Risk Committee at the Mental Health Commission IRL. Previously, they were a Non-Executive Director and Treasurer at Shine: Supporting People Affected by Mental Ill Health from May 2016 to October 2023. Prior to that, they held positions at the Health Research Board (HRB), including Director of Corporate Operations from May 2007 to September 2017 and Chief Executive (Interim) from January 2014 to March 2014. Kevin also worked as an IT Service Delivery Manager at Capita Life and Pensions from March 2000 to May 2007.

Kevin Roantree has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Henley Business School, completed between 2008 and 2012. In 2014 and 2016, they obtained a Master's Degree in Personal and Management Coaching from University College Cork. Additionally, Kevin attended various short courses, including HR Strategy in Transforming Organisations at London Business School in 2016, and Creating and Executing Breakthrough Strategy at Columbia Business School in 2012. In 2018, they completed a course in Leadership Decision Making at Harvard Kennedy School, focusing on optimizing organizational performance. In 2020 and 2021, Kevin pursued a degree in Implementing Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School. Kevin also completed a Public Leadership Credential in Moral Leadership in 2021 at the same institution. Continuing their education, Kevin enrolled in Neuroscience for Business at MIT Sloan School of Management from 2021 to 2022. Kevin is currently studying Inclusive Leadership through Behavioral Science at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), with an expected completion date in 2023.
