Anjali Krishnan, Ph.D has extensive work experience in the field of food safety and protection. Anjali is currently serving as an Editorial Board member for Food Protection Trends FPT for a period of 3 years starting in 2022. Additionally, they are also an Editorial Board Reviewer for IAFP Journal since November 2021.

Previously, they worked as a Technical Manager at Food Safety Net Services starting in April 2021.

Prior to that, Anjali served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Washington State University from July 2019 to April 2021. Anjali'sresponsibilities included conducting BSL-2 pathogen detection using qPCR, metagenomics, and culture-based identification in food and water. Anjali also conducted lab-based challenge studies to determine the most efficient treatment for pathogen inactivation, with funding from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Anjali's earlier work experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant/Laboratory Coordinator and Research Assistant at Kent State University from January 2014 to May 2019.

Anjali Krishnan, Ph.D has an impressive educational background in the field of Biological and Biomedical Sciences. Anjali obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree with Summa Cum Laude honors from Kent State University from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Microbiology from the University of Mumbai between 2011 and 2013. Anjali'sundergraduate education was also in Microbiology at the University of Mumbai, where they earned their Bachelor's degree from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Anjali Krishnan has also obtained several certifications. Most recently, they acquired the FSSC 22000 certification from Food Safety Net Services in March 2022. Anjali also holds certifications in Brand Reputation through Compliance of Global Standards BRCGS, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and HACCP (Food Safety) Auditor, all obtained from Food Safety Net Services in 2021. Furthermore, they attended the Microscopic/Microanalysis Summer school at the Liquid Crystal Institute, Kent State University in June 2018.
