Barry Shaw

Barry Shaw has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Barry'smost recent position was as the Director of Operations at Fooda. Prior to that, they served as the Area Director, Midwest at WeWork. Before joining WeWork, Barry worked as a Senior Project Manager at Sela, where they successfully implemented organizational improvements and managed high-profile events.

Earlier in their career, Barry held the role of Regional Manager at Industrious, where they had full P&L responsibility and oversaw multiple locations. Barry also served as the General Manager of NYC Operations at MakeSpace, where they managed all aspects of the operations.

Barry has a background in event production, having worked as the Director of Event Production and Senior Operations Manager at Tough Mudder Inc. Barry also has experience in warehouse fulfillment operations as the Outbound Operations Manager at UncommonGoods.

Prior to their roles in the private sector, Barry worked as a Project Manager at Con Edison Solutions and as an Analyst in Investment Grade Debt Syndication at Goldman Sachs. Barry began their career in the US Navy as a Division Officer aboard the USS Kitty Hawk, where they implemented new procedures and received outstanding ratings during inspections.

Barry Shaw began their education in 1993 at St Stithians College in South Africa, where they completed their high school diploma in 1997. In 1998, they enrolled at the United States Naval Academy and earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in History by 2002. Barry then pursued further education at Georgetown University from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis.
