Jeffrey Shepard CFA, CFP

Jeffrey Shepard CFA, CFP has extensive experience in the financial sector. Jeffrey began their career in 1994 as a Senior Vice President/Director of Insurance Asset Management at Columbia Asset Management. In this role, they supervised the retention and growth of $4.4 billion in managed insurance assets and produced excellent investment returns, resulting in investment performance exceeding investment benchmarks by 26 basis points annually for the previous five years. Jeffrey also had strong client retention with no client resignations over a seven year period. In 2005, they moved to Segall, Bryant & Hamill as a Portfolio Manager. In 2007, they became a Partner at Direct Forex Ltd. and in 2009, they became a Partner at LaSalle Jackson LLC and Fixed Income Associates LLC. In 2012, they joined William Blair & Co LLC as an Institutional Bond Salesperson. In this role, they partnered with bond salesman to increase bond sales to institutions, resulting in total sales of $600 million annually. Jeffrey also developed sales tools to evaluate account portfolios for more targeted sales, conducted analysis of deteriorating/improving credits for recommendations of security sales and purchases, and identified and recommended bond swaps to improve account investment performance. In 2017, they joined Eastgate Capital Advisors LLC as a Senior Investment Advisor and Managing Director. At Eastgate, they worked as a boutique holistic wealth advisor offering advice on the four pillars of personal finance: asset allocation, estate planning, accounting and tax utilizing a goals based financial planning model. In 2020, they became a Web Developer at FoodBoss.

Jeffrey Shepard CFA, CFP holds a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts - BA from Northwestern University. Jeffrey also holds a certification in Designing RESTful APIs from LinkedIn, obtained in June 2022.
