Fawzi Abdulfattah

Fawzi Abdulfattah is a Senior Software Engineer currently working at Foodics since July 2024, with a strong background in software development and engineering. With contributions to various open-source projects since January 2021, Fawzi has enhanced features such as auto-playing videos in Visual Studio Code and improved response handling in the Fastify framework. Previous experience includes leading a transition to Infrastructure as Code at Nugttah, achieving significant cost reductions, and resolving critical system issues at Intouch.com to improve user experience. Fawzi has also demonstrated expertise in refactoring code from JavaScript to TypeScript at XIOT and optimizing performance at the Python Software Foundation during the Google Summer of Code. Fawzi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Port Said University and a High School Diploma from Sulymaniah High School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
